Unleashing 30 Years of Fashion Frenzy
Diving headfirst into their milestone show at Milan Fashion Week, Dsquared2 pulled out all the stops for their 30th anniversary celebration. The runway extravaganza kicked off with rapper Doecchi bursting onto the scene from an armored vehicle overflowing with dollar bills, setting the tone for a wild and unforgettable experience that culminated with the iconic Naomi Campbell strutting in a leather biker bodysuit.
- Sexiest Denim and Flannel Fusion
- The brainchild of Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten, Dsquared2 is renowned for its bold interpretations of denim and flannel. Their Instagram bio sums it up perfectly – “Born in Canada, Made in Italy.”
- Canadian Heritage Meets Street-Savvy Edge
- Drawing inspiration from their Canadian roots, the designers infused their collection with a street-wise flair that left little to the imagination, showcasing plenty of skin and sass.
- Star-Studded Spectacle
- Against the backdrop of a New York City nightclub, the Catens assembled a star-studded cast of models such as Isabeli Fontana and Irina Shayk, alongside rapper NLE Choppa. The runway was lined with a lineup of flashy hot rods, including a McClaren, Porsche, limo, and police car.
- Fashion Forward Collaborations
- Collaborating with the likes of Magliano, Vaquera, Better, Ducati, and Kiss, Dsquared2’s collection featured an array of unique pieces, from glittery underwear to statement T-shirts.
The show concluded with Brigitte Nielsen, decked out as a sexy cop, escorting the handcuffed twins out of a squad car amidst a cloud of tinsel and glamour. The world was left wondering what crimes the infamous duo had committed.
In a climactic finish, Nielsen declared, “Dsquared takes Hollywood to Milan. They are amazing. The No. 1 show in Milano.” As the curtains closed on the captivating display, the festivities seamlessly transitioned into a lively afterparty featuring performances by Doechii and JT.
As the curtain falls on Dsquared2’s 30th anniversary show, the fashion world is left in awe of the bold creativity and boundary-pushing designs of Dean and Dan Caten. Here’s to another three decades of style, glamour, and unapologetic fashion statements. Cheers to Dsquared2!
