The issue is "the media", these people are paid, many of them now working for news agencies that are not profitable, (CNN, MSNBC, CBS) given these media outlets are not profitable someone is kicking in money to keep them afloat. Do we really believe those kicking in the money aren't setting their line of questioning?

How about we stop focusing on less than 1% of the US spending from USAID and go after the real big spender, which is the pentagon? They haven’t passed the last 7 audits in a row. I have absolutely nothing against weeding out fraud, waste, and abuse. Just make sure that it is fraud waste and abuse. When you look at Social Security and it looks like multiple people are drawing off one person‘s Social Security, You may think that is fraud taking place, but it may be that multiple ex spouses are drawing off that person’s Social Security, as well as children might be getting Social Security off that person’s Social Security. If an ex spouse is drawing Social Security off of multiple ex spouses, then that would be fraud. There are 20,000 pages of Social Security rules and regulations, etc.. You need to be sure you’re not cutting somebody off that is actually entitled to it. Don’t take a wrecking ball to something where you may need surgical precision. He just can’t go and cut off disability to everybody if that ends up what happens without checking and verifying that they are genuinely disabled. Just make sure a person‘s job isn’t a critical one where you may end up causing more problems for people when you fire them. Some things are easy to see that it’s wasteful and wrong others are not. I guess what I’m saying is Let’s just be reasonable. I’ve been a stanch responsible conservative all my life. I hope I don’t end up regretting voting this administration in, but if things go completely south, I still know that God is ultimately in control! ❤️ to all!

Maybe nobody likes waste, fraud, and abuse? Maybe people don't want to see a guy, who cut 3/4 of the value out of Twitter in a year, hacking away at random at an organization 200 times as large as the one he just broke? Maybe they don't trust a guy who made his money off of government subsidies, contracts and mysteriously lax SEC enforcement, who currently gets paid 11 million dollars a day by the US taxpayers, who pays no taxes, deciding what is and isn't government waste, fraud and abuse? Especially when he goes and fires a bunch of inspectors general, who are running multiple federal investigations of his companies which receive billions in federal money?
Maybe its not wasteful to employ people to maintain the security of our nuclear weapons? Maybe we need a trained surgeon, and not a butcher with a chainsaw?
