Unlocking Gold Rush: Aurum Secures License Renewal for Nyangboue’s High-Grade Treasure Trove!

Aurum Resources Limited (ASX:AUE) is thrilled to announce the renewal of its Boundiali South (BST) exploration license, securing 100% interest in the advanced high-grade Nyangboue gold deposit. Situated in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, the BST tenement is a pivotal component of Aurum’s broader Boundiali Gold Project. Here are the key highlights of this exciting development:

  1. BST Exploration License Renewal: The BST exploration license, home to the Nyangboue deposit, has been successfully renewed. Ministerial approval for exploration drilling at the high-grade Nyangboue deposit, partially located in a classified forest area, is expected in the upcoming weeks.
  2. Impressive Exploration Results: Previous exploration efforts at Boundiali South have yielded remarkable results, such as:
    • 20m @ 10.45g/t gold from 38m (BRC0004S BIS)
    • 30m @ 8.30g/t gold from 39m (NDC007)
    • 28m @ 4.04g/t gold from 3m and 6m @ 3.29g/t gold from 47m (BRC003)
    • 9m @ 7.90g/t gold from 99m (BRC006)
  3. Enhanced Drilling Capabilities: With two new diamond drill rigs arriving on site, Aurum’s fleet now stands at six rigs. This increase will boost drilling capacity to approximately 10,000 meters per month, with assays pending. The target for CY2024 is an ambitious 45,000 meters.
  4. Centralized Exploration Camp: A new central exploration camp is on track to be operational by the end of October 2024. This facility will enhance efficiency and reduce costs for future exploration activities.
  5. Mineral Resource Estimate: The Initial Mineral Resource Estimate for Boundiali is progressing as planned and is on track for completion by late CY2024.
  6. Financial Strength: Aurum is well-funded, with approximately $20 million available for further aggressive exploration endeavors.

This renewal signifies a significant step forward for Aurum’s exploration activities in a highly promising gold tenement. The company is well-prepared to accelerate its drilling program and capitalize on the promising results obtained so far. Dr. Caigen Wang, the Managing Director of Aurum, expressed gratitude for the continued support of the Côte d’Ivoire government in the exploration and development of gold resources.

BST Renewal: The tenure renewal of the BST exploration license, particularly significant for Nyangboue, reaffirms its status as a key aspect of the Boundiali Gold Project. Spanning 167.36km2, this license is crucial for Aurum’s ongoing exploration efforts.

Approvals for Nyangboue Drilling: Following the license renewal, necessary approvals for exploration drilling at Nyangboue are progressing smoothly. Ministerial sign-off for operations within the classified forest area is expected imminently.

Multiple Gold Targets Defined: Through extensive surface geochemical sampling, three compelling gold anomalies have been delineated within BST. The presence of high-grade gold-in-soil values, up to 9,964 Au ppb, underscores the project’s potential.

Extensive Drilling Database: The project benefits from a comprehensive historical drilling database, including various drilling techniques such as aircore, RC diamond tail, and diamond drilling. This wealth of data provides valuable insights into the project’s geology.

High-Grade Potential Confirmed: Previous re-assays of high-grade samples have confirmed the project’s significant potential for high-grade gold mineralization. Notable results from historic drilling at Nyangboue demonstrate the prospect’s richness.

In conclusion, Aurum’s successful renewal of the BST exploration license marks a promising chapter in their exploration endeavors. With robust drilling capabilities, financial strength, and promising results, the company is poised for continued success in unlocking the mineral potential of the Nyangboue deposit within the Boundiali Gold Project.
