Much respect to this CEO for this pledge. Make no mistake this is a win win. Obviously good for American workers, but this kind of investment by Japan will help solidify their economic strength into the future. You see Japan’s demographic trend shows a declining workforce. They can make up for this by utilizing American workers to shore up their industry. They spread some of the wealth to the American worker while using the profits to still maintain dominant industries within Japan and further their technology. This is a very wise move for them. The side benefit is that these types of deals help reinforce a very important alliance between our two nations.
