Like all congressional hearings … what a waste of time! Nothing ever comes of these hearings. Congress has significant power and yet they don’t use it. Open deadlines are given and nothing gets resolved. Congress is frustrating as are these directors! Waste of time and money!

Ms Horono’s comments on mitigating the accessibility to firearms is ridiculous if this was a open carry state which btw would be constitutional and a right by our amendment the people that were trying to flag down law enforcement would have probably prevented the shooter from even taking a shot at the former president in the first place something a agency made for that exact purpose that has a budget of what 3 million dollars etc and trained agents could not do 😅 so using this to try to enforce gun laws is outrageous

The Secret Service is either the most incompetent group ever to protect Trump or the stupidest liars that think the people would believe their make-up stories. Roofs are the number one targets for any Secret Service to look out for and the guy said it was obscured! He should be fired immediately after saying that.

NOBODY answered the simplest, most vital question: WHO WAS THE INDIVIDUAL(S) THAT WAS IN CHARGE OF ENSURING THAT ROOF WAS PROTECTED, AND WHY DIDNT THEY DO THIS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TASK??? This should have been a pretty easy question to answer; SOMEBODY had to have been entrusted with that job, so WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THAT AND WHY DID THEY NOT COMPLETE THIS TASK?? JFC these long-winded, roundabout "answers" to this are not justified in the slightest. OR….does it happen to be the case that NOBODY was assigned that task, and the topic never crossed a single person's mind??!!! If that's the case, even more of a reason that multiple people should be fired.

Kenedy and the whole world knows that the sniper was spotted well before he shot. Kenedy- and I'm paraphrasing: Kendy- "you saw the sniper minutes before he began firing why didn't you act sooner?". Secret service dude- "That's new information to me sir" I'm not a big conspiracy guy, but from what we have heard and seen now they knew about the shooter long before he shot. This whole thing reeks of political and official corruption.
