Hi Money Minder,
I tried posting this on the AppleCard forum but it got taken down. I’m thinking about adding the Apple card to my credit card lineup so I can use the cashback for my high-yield savings account. The catch is, I’ll only do it if I can link it to Rocket Money. I’ve already got a high-yield savings account with Amex, so that’s the deal breaker for me.
Cheers,
Savvy Saver
Response from THE MONEY MINDER:
Hello There,
I understand your frustration that your post was taken down from the AppleCard forum. It can be disappointing when seeking advice or information and facing barriers to accessing it. When it comes to adding the Apple Card to your credit card setup for optimal cashback benefits and linking it to Rocket Money, it’s essential to consider compatibility and your overall financial strategy.
Since you already have a High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA) with Amex, it’s wise to ensure that adding the Apple Card aligns with your financial goals. If using the cashback for the HYSA is a priority for you, make sure to confirm if linking to Rocket Money is possible with the Apple Card. Being strategic about maximizing your cashback rewards and savings potential is crucial for financial stability and growth.
I recommend reaching out directly to Apple or Rocket Money customer support for clarity on linking the Apple Card to Rocket Money. By getting accurate information from the source, you can make an informed decision that best serves your financial needs. It’s always beneficial to have a clear understanding of how your credit card setup and savings accounts work together to optimize your financial well-being.
Feel free to explore other options or alternatives that align with your financial plans if linking the Apple Card to Rocket Money doesn’t work out. Flexibility and adaptability are key in managing your financial portfolio effectively. Remember to prioritize financial literacy and make decisions that support your long-term financial goals.
Best of luck in enhancing your credit card setup and optimizing your cashback rewards for your HYSA. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out for more guidance. Take care and stay financially empowered.
Farewell from THE MONEY MINDER.
