Is Netflix’s Stream Mishap with Tyson vs. Paul a Sign It Can’t Handle NFL Games? 🏈🚨

Last night’s highly-anticipated fight between Paul and his opponent drew in a massive audience, including myself. Tuning in just before Paul made his grand entrance in the back of a lowrider truck, I found myself struggling to follow the action throughout the 8-round match. Relying on my mind’s ability to piece together bits of information, the fight was a blurry spectacle for me, much like the X post below that resonated with so many others.

The aftermath of the broadcast has left fans concerned about the quality of Netflix’s upcoming live events. The streaming giant, with a whopping 283 million subscribers, has not yet addressed the issues faced during last night’s fight. This has raised questions about the upcoming WWE Raw broadcasts that attract 1.4 million viewers weekly and the NFL matchups, particularly the Christmas Day game featuring the reigning Superbowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. These games have historically drawn millions of viewers, and with the Chiefs dominating the ratings this season, many are anxious about the streaming quality for these pivotal matches.

Reflecting on the immense audience the Chiefs brought in last Christmas Day, nearly 30 million viewers, it is apparent that Netflix’s performance during last night’s event does not bode well for its future live broadcasts. With the NFL season in full swing and Christmas around the corner, the streaming giant must address these quality concerns to ensure a seamless viewing experience for its massive audience. Whether it’s WWE Raw or NFL matchups, the stakes are high, and fans expect nothing but the best from Netflix.
