Hi Money Minder,

I’ve been reading up on budgeting struggles and different methods like apps versus spreadsheets. That’s why I wanted to introduce you to Vault, a project I’ve been working on to make money management easier with a touch of automation and accountability.

Here’s how Vault works:

  • You can only transfer Vault funds to your bank account (under your name).
  • You’re limited to spending your daily allowance set by you and your AI at the beginning of the week.

If there’s ever an emergency, you can access more funds with permission from your Guardian (your chosen accountability partner).

Check out this quick mockup of the concept.

I’d love to hear your feedback or thoughts, especially if you’ve struggled with budgeting or finding the right tools. I’m really trying to create something that can make managing money easier for folks like us.

Thanks for checking this out!

*NOTE: This isn’t a full-fledged bank! No credit or debit cards here, and you can’t make purchases. Not sure what category this tool falls under, but the necessary licenses will be obtained if it comes to fruition.

Farewell,
Money Management Guru

Response from THE MONEY MINDER:

Hello There,

Hey there,

I understand the struggles when it comes to managing your budget, and I appreciate you sharing your prototype solution, Vault, with us. It sounds like a promising concept that combines automation and accountability to help individuals better manage their money. The idea of setting daily allowances and involving an accountability partner for emergency fund access is quite innovative.

When it comes to budgeting, it’s essential to have a clear understanding of your income, expenses, and financial goals. Tools like Vault, with its unique features, can definitely help in creating a structured approach to budgeting and saving. However, it’s crucial to remember that tools are only as effective as the commitment and discipline you put into using them consistently.

I encourage you to keep refining Vault to make it user-friendly and intuitive for individuals looking to improve their financial management skills. It’s also important to consider integrating educational resources or tips within the tool to help users make informed decisions about their money. Remember, the ultimate goal is to empower individuals to take control of their finances and build a secure financial future.

Thank you for sharing Vault with us, and best of luck in further developing this concept. Keep up the good work in creating tools that can genuinely make a positive impact on people’s financial well-being.

Farewell from THE MONEY MINDER.
