it's kinda crazy how nobody is talking about the book whispers of manifestation on borlest

God, i hate this brown guy coming in and telling americans what to do. Go back to where you came from

I like these guys, but disagree with Ramit on not having a budget. "Having a budget tells your money where to go, instead of wondering where it went, " John Maxwell. I followed Dave Ramsey for years and his book, "Total Money Makeover" helped our family be completely debt free. Find what works for you. Cheers!

There's a huge reset of wealth right now, commercial real estate is down at least 30% same with the stock market, high tech with huge multiple variations are down more than 40%. So is this a good sign to buy stocks, or do I just hold cash? I own a house already

Though I like him, his theory does not convince me as it is based on the premise that the stock market (SP500) will keep growing at 7-8% rate.
The fact that it have worked that way in the past, does not guarantee that it will in the future. Ask the Giaponese.

I came across your channel through this video—case studies are incredibly valuable, and I'm eager to see more in the future! Building wealth involves establishing routines, like consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for smart investments.

    This is so on point

Oberoi Vilas properties are the best. Both of you should check it out!

Again , it’s absolutely ridiculous if you think renting is a better choice IF , you have the ability to buy. You take ownership of the property. The value of the property is more than likely to increase while your rent fucking goes up every year or every two. Years more than 3% and you don’t fucking own it. You are living in someone else space. It’s so crazy to even think renting is a better option when you are able to afford to own a home.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it’s ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.

I am a very unsuccesful landlord but i relish in the fact that my 566 sq. foot condo makes me landed gentry. I am loosing about $6K a year.

No one cares who pays as long as they get paid.

They don't understand where the down payment needs to go when the choose to rent. They don't see that the down payment growing in VOO is the equity that they clearly would see inside of a home. They also don't see that when they rent, going lower rent is possible when times get hard. They also don't see that being in the market teaches them about market. I was that person. Even if I had seen to the video here, I would not have know what you are talking about. It really needs to me put down on the paper. I did it for myself renting vs buying the same half a million dollar condo in my building. I never made to the time where buying it was better than renting. Landlords love people with money so they bend backwards to keep you. Just my experience.

My wife makes more than me by far. I can't care less. Btw; she has been making more than me since we met. Why is this an issue for people???. In fact, we rarely talk about money at all. We keep the bills very low, pay cash for everything.. Life is good.

Moving homes every time your lease expires is painful especially when you grow older. Imagine doing it when you're 80 plus. Ouch !

Renting is f*** crazy. I purchased in 2017. House hacking allowed the tenant to pay the mortgage 80%

And that rental fee was priced low enough below market that my tenant could save for a down payment on their own home.

there's a book called whispers of manifestation on borlest , and it talks about how using some secret tehniques you can attract almost everything in life it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal

Get the forbidden book Whispers of Manifestation on Borlest, and uncover the secrets they've been hiding.

3:55 The problem is you don't build equity, you're throwing money into the void. It doesn't matter that your rent is 2.5 times cheaper if 100% of the funds disappear. The subscription model to life is a terrible one.

We bought a house because after moving dozens of times over 20 years, We wanted to put down roots and not spend any more energy moving when our landlord decided to put the rent up.. I also wanted to have a monthly payment for housing that didn’t go up like rents have. Since I bought this house, I have seen my children be priced out of buying a house in this area that we live. Our house has doubled in price, and I intend to renovate it and turn it into a duplex, so that my son will have a place to live. It’s one of the the best decisions we have ever made. When my house becomes a duplex, I will make $1000 a month profit at least and still pay my mortgage off.

Rent is more than mortgage too. The whole situation is screwed up.

Chamath and Cathie Wood are scam artists

This guy is saying people are really bad at calculating costs but expect those same people to be able to invest their extra money from the difference in their TCO of renting for buying. The math may work out but the missing variable is human behavior.

22:28 Completely disagree. There is NOTHING "virtuous" about being a consumer in 2024… absolutely nothing.
But being content and fully satisfied w/ very little is actually a superpower in the modern world

You can't compare rent with own without considering long term growth in appreciation. Rent while your income rises faster than rent, buy when rent rises faster than income.

My husband built a business that he loved. He only sold it (luckily) after being diagnosed with cancer. He enjoyed the fruit of his labour for six years but passed away. But we put off enjoying our lives when he was well. Now I have money but no one to share it with. So sad 😢

Seems like houses are a terrible investment for first time home buyers that don't have a huge down payment. Rates and prices are so high that after interest, insurances, taxes, repairs, you're barely paying any of the principle on the mortgage or getting any real equity. Unfortunately when renting we're beholden to a landlord who can raise our rent anytime they want and then we're trapped or screwed.

This guy is so wrong. Listen to him at your peril. How does he make money? Selling advice? Hah

Does anyone know if there is way to submit a question to Scott or his team ? I have a financial choice to make and I'm wondering if anyone has managed to ask.

Everyone criticizes HOW other people spend money. If they don’t or do buy a nice house or car when they have money is not your call. People value different things. Let them be rich with a crappy car or small house. Who cares. It doesn’t mean that they aren’t enjoying life. Maybe NOT spending is their happiness.
