An industry that would be wiped out if America had a secure border. The USA should be sanctioned worldwide for allowing billions of dollars and millions of guns to flow to these dangerous Cartels who are basically terrorists.

American drug users need to pay for the misery they cause in Colombia and across the world. Without their demand there would be no supply. Baby Boomers loved locking up black people for drugs in the 80s but refuse to lock up their opioid using kids and their friends.

It's all a big joke. The first country that controls drugs by making them legal on all inclusive resorts will stop the fighting and if proper regulations in place the towns around should prosper. Fighting the inevitable is a lack of intelligence.. Red light districts or Red lights resorts that ensure safety for all to indulge would be trillion dollar businesses overnight…

It will never end why because the war on drugs spends trillions of dollars on a war that will never be one. It's all about the money. It's all about economic growth how do you think Miami was built because of drug money. Every major construction project you see in the world is all built by drug money. In Manhattan they have billionaire row the apartments are all sold and the people never lived in them. It's all drug money everything is drug money

Devils advocate here:
okay these create jobs. jobs make people happy. politicians want happy people.
If I'm the politician, I received benefits from making jobs as well as getting money from cartels. It generate jobs in remote regions for farmers.
I also help Americans in theie stressful corporate lives by giving them avenue to be separated from reality.
I think coke is great overall and removing it entirely is studpid.
