Nevada Lithium Resources Inc., a leading company in the lithium sector, is pleased to present an updated mineral resource estimate for its Bonnie Claire Lithium Project in Nevada. This updated estimate reflects the significant progress made in drilling activities and resource identification at the Project.
Here are the key highlights and important points to note from the latest mineral resource estimate:
- Lower Zone Resource Estimate: The Lower Zone of the Bonnie Claire Project reveals an indicated lithium resource of 275.85 Mt at 3,519 ppm and an inferred resource of 1,561.06 Mt at 3,085ppm. This signifies a substantial increase in tonnage and grades, positioning Bonnie Claire as one of the largest lithium resources globally.
- Higher Grades and Increased Tonnage: The Lower Zone drilling results show a 68% increase in lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) tonnage and a three-fold increase in average grade. With intervals exceeding 6,000 ppm, this discovery is a significant advancement for the Project.
- Future Resource Expansion: The Lower Zone remains open for further resource expansion in multiple directions, promising additional indicated resources and new inferred resources.
- Upper Zone Estimates: The Upper Zone estimates include an indicated lithium resource of 188.08 Mt at 1,074 ppm and an inferred resource of 451.10 Mt at 1,106 ppm. This zone would be mined using conventional open-pit methods.
- Mining Methods: The Lower Zone is slated for hydraulic borehole mining (HBHM) due to its structure and composition, while the Upper Zone will be mined through traditional open-pit methods.
- Metallurgical Processes: Different mineral assemblages in the Upper and Lower Zones require distinct processing methods, with thermal treatment for the Upper Zone and sulfuric acid leaching for the Lower Zone to achieve high lithium extraction rates.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Rigorous quality control measures were implemented throughout the drilling program to ensure accurate and reliable assay results and data verification by qualified personnel.
Overall, the latest mineral resource estimate signifies a significant milestone for Nevada Lithium’s Bonnie Claire Project, paving the way for future developments and resource enhancements. Stakeholders and investors can anticipate further updates as the Company progresses towards completing its Preliminary Economic Assessment by Q1 2025.
As Nevada Lithium continues to unveil the potential of its Bonnie Claire Project, it remains at the forefront of the lithium industry, poised for continued growth and success in the global market.
