It's about TIME!! give some of these Las Vegas folks a possible taste of what it's like to earn REAL MONEY!!! LV needs a tech community.

Between this and the movie studios Vegas is going down the drain for the poor or middles class….we will be like LA, and the Bay Area where all this tech is now. Not sure why they need another hub.

It's disappointing to see locals habitually turn down and shun incentives the valley creates to bring new opportunities. It's important to diversify the economy of the valley not only to support the influx of people but also provide a sustainable future for young locals who don't want to work hospitality. Fact of the matter is the metropolitan area has long outgrown the ability to rely solely on the strip. If you don't like the city looking and feeling like a city, you can always move to Mesquite or Pahrump. This isn't Winemucca. The film industry brings in jobs of every trade and becoming a tech hub would pressure the county into putting tax dollars that are being wasted time and time again into the schools to be able to create well-educated young people. This coming from myself, a product of the CCSD, we need to do better

High-tech companies should be more centrally located to the Las Vegas metropolitan region. Eldorado Valley is over forty miles away from Skye Canyon.
