They fear Trump and Musk because they don't need to launder taxpayer money into their own pockets – they can't be bought. It's been a joke my entire life (now 54) how elected officials making $140k/yr are worth $20mil by the end of their first term in office. The grift of making money in public office by taking bribes from lobbyists and investing in companies that get government contracts is coming to an end, and that's why they went to the trouble of trying to jail and assassinate Trump: many many career politicians will soon see their scam of laundering taxpayer money dry up. If they are lucky, they won't end up in jail for treason or taking bribes. For context, I'm a lowly federal employee who would lose his job if I were to accept a $20 gift from a government contractor and not report it immediately, but elected officials can currently make millions off of PAC money and lobbyists' bribes. Ethics standards need to be applied to our elected officials, especially on election day.

It would be fun to watch if it was not so sad, that americans actually believe the problem is the government institutions and not the tax-avoiding corporations. If they would pay their tax to US instead of using shady practices to avoid tax, there probably would be enough money to spend.

USA federal deficits will exceed 37 trillions this year and counting. One trillion is just for the interest.
If DOGE wants to trim 2 trillion, then there should absolutely be no tax cuts of 5 trillions. That’s crazy.
Everyone pays 20% more in taxes and 20% cut across all federal depts. Everyone pays their share. There will be no write off especially corporations and millionaires. The poor and the Churches have to help out too. This is draconian but 15-20 years later it’s game over for the USA. -
