    2 great governors

DeSantis is the best. He doesn’t mind telling like it is.

DeSantis is by far the best governor in US History

The governor of California is right about when it comes to the media coverage. When it comes to the Democrats, they’ll say very little about anything that is very bad and then when it comes to the Republicans, it can be something very small and they’ll make it into something big. The Democrat media they’re nothing but a bunch of liars and they are nothing but a bunch of horse manure.

Trump is not the president yet and he is definitely not the governor of California. The media is not doing their job as usual and blaming the wrong people

Worry about your own state desantis. You have more problems than you can handle.

    😂😂😂👍🏿

Good job DeSantis call these demons out that don’t have the GUTS to call out Democrats

We'll never fix the politics in this country until after we fix the media in this country.

Desantis doesn't even like Trump, but still defended him on this topic.

    Support DeSantis!

God bless you, Gov. DeSantis! You are always standing up for American citizens. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nailed it! Hurrican Katrina was 100% blamed on W. Bush. Never mind the corrupt mayor of New Orleans, never mind the incompetent governor of Louisiana, it was W. Bush's fault, covered 24/7 on the so-called media. Facts.

I like what he says but my bank account sure hates the way he governs the state. I'm thinking about moving to NYC to save some money.

The media nowadays is a disgrace for not holding CA and LA governments accountable for their unpreparedness to protect their people.

DeSantis is my governor and Trump is my president, and i am an immigrant.

Many of us will not help them

    Media bullshit always

DeSantis has always been there for Florida in every hurricane. He always plans an expeditious and tailored plan. Bet California wish they had him.

    1. DeSantis's Criticism of Media Coverage
DeSantis frequently criticizes media as part of a broader Republican strategy to discredit traditional journalism and align with right-leaning outlets. His attacks on media during disasters (e.g., wildfires, hurricanes) often serve as a distraction from policy failures or controversies in his leadership. (Source: Washington Post, October 2023).
Political optics play a role: By framing his critique as "media bias," DeSantis attempts to rally his base and distract from substantive issues, such as insufficient wildfire preparedness or climate policy stances that exacerbate disaster risks.
    2. Defense of Trump's Criticism of Newsom
Trump and Newsom's feud: Trump has repeatedly attacked California Governor Gavin Newsom over wildfire management, often blaming him for forest mismanagement while ignoring federal responsibilities. (Source: Politico, October 2020).
Federal failures under Trump: During Trump's presidency, he downplayed the role of climate change in worsening wildfires and threatened to withhold disaster aid from California (Source: New York Times, 2019). These actions undermined state and federal collaboration to address wildfire risks.
    3. DeSantis’s Track Record
Dishonesty and Controversy: DeSantis has faced accusations of prioritizing political interests over public welfare:
COVID-19 Response: DeSantis promoted disinformation about vaccines and downplayed public health measures, which led to avoidable deaths and strained healthcare systems in Florida (Source: The Lancet, 2022).
Anti-LGBTQ+ Legislation: His policies, such as the "Don't Say Gay" law, have been widely criticized as discriminatory and harmful to LGBTQ+ communities (Source: Human Rights Campaign, 2023).
Education Censorship: DeSantis has led efforts to ban books and restrict discussions of race and gender in schools, actions condemned by educators and civil rights groups (Source: ACLU, 2023).
    4. Trump's Responsibility for Wildfires
While direct causation cannot be assigned, several policies and actions under Trump's administration worsened the conditions contributing to wildfires:

Climate Change Denial: Trump rolled back more than 100 environmental regulations, including those targeting greenhouse gas emissions (Source: Harvard Law Review, 2021).
Forest Management Claims: Despite blaming California for poor forest management, federal lands account for nearly 60% of California's forests. Trump’s administration reduced funding for federal wildfire prevention efforts (Source: U.S. Forest Service, 2020).
Infrastructure Neglect: Trump’s failure to invest in resilient infrastructure left states like California vulnerable to climate disasters (Source: Brookings Institution, 2020).
    5. Political vs. Reality
Your assertion that this is political theater is valid. Both DeSantis and Trump’s remarks appear more aimed at advancing partisan narratives than addressing real issues:

Wildfires are exacerbated by climate change: The scientific consensus links rising global temperatures to more intense and frequent wildfires (Source: IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, 2022).
Policy failures across parties: While both Democrats and Republicans share responsibility for inadequate climate action, the refusal of GOP leaders like DeSantis and Trump to acknowledge climate science significantly worsens conditions.
    6. Highly Critical Evaluation
DeSantis and Trump’s rhetoric reflects a broader strategy of deflecting blame while exploiting crises for political gain:

Baseless attacks on Democrats: DeSantis’s criticism of media coverage often lacks evidence and serves to amplify partisan division rather than address underlying issues.
Accountability: Both figures have histories of policy decisions that undermine disaster preparedness, environmental protection, and public trust in governance.
    Key Sources:
Washington Post (2023): Analysis of DeSantis’s media strategy.
New York Times (2019): Trump’s threats to withhold disaster aid.
Harvard Law Review (2021): Environmental rollbacks under Trump.
IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (2022): Climate change and wildfire linkage.
Brookings Institution (2020): Federal infrastructure policy failures.
The Lancet (2022): Florida’s pandemic mismanagement under DeSantis.
In summary, the remarks by DeSantis and Trump are rooted more in political posturing than substantive engagement with reality. Addressing wildfires and climate disasters requires bipartisan solutions grounded in science and facts, which are undermined by their divisive rhetoric and harmful policies.

I'll never forget Trump's criticism and solutions for wildfires. I believe we can do a better job at managing our forests, but democrat voters are holding our country back.

global warming you fool.. florida going though stuff as will.

We want him brought before a tribunal and charged with crimes against the people.

The lack of respect and negative comments on YouTube and social media, regarding Biden’s legacy media, is astounding and well deserved as they keep their misinformed and impressionable viewer's in a state of perpetual confusion, fear and anger.

Media is activist. They are not journalists any longer. They get paid to pick sides and to push propaganda.

DeStantis is excellent communicator. The left media is disgraceful and dishonest.

    NEWSOM NEEDS TO GO!

Here it comes, CA did not elect competent people and it is terrible what is happening. Now you and I have to pay for CA incompetence. It makes me so angry.

God Bless DeSantis. He speaks the truth. Prayers for California

Go on DeSantis!! I love when people say the truth. The problems have been that people have been coddled so long not to hurt the gays, the smelt or anyone/anything that the Democrats SAY you can't hurt the feelings of. While the 99.9% of the rest of the world has been trying to shut up and we're done shutting up. We're speaking truth and we're NOT going back to being silent because you're wrong and it hurts your weird little freak feelings.

    Love Desantis!!!!!!

Why is the media defending the Governor? I think its important to criticize someone who has just ruined that many lives due to negligence. People lost their livelihoods, their businesses, their homes, communities, schools, pets, and some even their lives.

    Rothschild family will compensate them

I despise DeSantis. He sounds llike he really gives a damn, but he doesn't.

    DESANTIS !!!👏👏👏👏

The left TOTALLY eviscerated Ted Cruz for going to Cancun during the deep freeze in TX…

Ted Cruz had NO roll in recovery or first response during the freeze, but the left-stream media behaved as if he were the cause of the disaster.
