Canada tourism will be stronger this year many international tourists will avoid to even travel to America . America has this illusion that’s it’s the best mean while it sucks in so many ways . As a Canadian only travel to countries that respect fellow Canadians…… I will spend my money in my own country. Canada needs to start making our own products and manufacturing. Canada da needs to stop being so reckless and stop relaying on America for everything. . This will impact Americans as well in fact good luck paying MORE FOR stuff America has a BIGGER Population THEY NEED MORE STUFF😅😅😅. He shot himself in the foot and spilled his milk 😅. Who and USA relies on Canadian lumber to make houses 😅😅😅😅😅. Soft wood and lumber come from
Canada and Mexico good luck making your house with mood 😅. And America gets many many hurricanes as well …🤦♀️ -

Most Canadians still love the US, they just can’t afford it now 😅

I specifically booked an Easter break holiday to Mexico with no stops in the USA. Sorry for the non-insane Americans, but your president's ideas and methods are destroying your reputation as a fair and rational country to deal with. The Gaza stuff announced last night was a new all time low… and the bar was already very, very low. I'm out until 2029 when the chaos stops.

We are really going to miss those tin can tourists. One other reason is they cant afford it. Their script currency is not good here.

In our little town in Quebec secondary schools traditionally have a school trip to New York or Boston on offer for March break. These were canceled this year with no monetary loss to the students nor to the school, as it was early enough to cancel the rooms and visits without penalty.

I've heard El Salvador is safer than Ohio. Less racist also. -

We had already decided that we would have no stops in the US let alone actual travel to the States but that was due to Biden BS. Now, it's the sad state of the Canadian dollar that would be the deterrent.

Talk about 'spin', twist, fake news, how about flat out lies. If anything, Canadians will come to the US in droves to buy American goods here and avoid the tariffs. The Dept. of Transportation must be bought and owned by democrats.

I cancelled two personal trips to the US (I told my BFF if she wants to see me, come on up to Canada!) and my spouse who has to travel there for work convinced the customers to come up to Canada instead. At every turn we will make sure we don't travel to the US or buy US products. And let's just reveal a little secret, we've given so many opportunities to try and tolerate the US over decades "well, it's policy, not people", "only a few are arrogant, give the rest a break", "not all of them have zero knoweldge of the world outside the US", but that's it, my tolerance, patience and kindness is over. It's time to think about Canada. I've never been one to hang a flag from my window and yet two days ago we put one up for the neighbourhood to see. You've united our country in ways that will never return to being forgiving of the US's missteps. It breaks my heart but buh-bye.

2024 was our Ruby wedding anniversary. I suggested we went to NY for NYE (also coincided with with wife’s 60th birthday). She declined but said let’s go to Canada instead (was on both our bucket lists). So Ontario, Vancouver, the rockies, Jasper, Golden and lots of places in between. What an experience. It would be impossible now to visit the US as it seems so badly broken with DJT in charge. Glad we did what we did when we did (incidentally we were shocked to see the devastation at Jasper after the wild fires) but we could never visit the US under the current regime.
I have been several time for business and pleasure, but would not return voluntarily.

If it takes Anti-American sentiment for Canadian's to move away from globalization so all allies are strong…..so be it. In the end, making each ally strong with some tough love will make us all stronger against the enemy.

Canadian here currently in the States, looking forward to getting back home. From what I can see, gasoline is still quite a bit cheaper in the USA compared to Canada, but that's pretty much where it ends. Booze might be slightly cheaper at the stores, but definitely more in bars and restaurants. Groceries are more expensive by quite a lot, and most everything else is close to the same price or slightly higher stateside. Certainly no bargains to be had like in years past, and we're paying almost 50% on the dollar. So besides warmer weather there's not much else to go there for.
