This Wyden person should do his duty to the country and shut up and retire. The lame stream media want to restrict anyone not in their little club from being journalists. We all know news is not opinion. The organized press provides lies, half truths and their so called analysis (propaganda). I am sure there are parts of this bill that would make a freedom lover vomit.

Ron Wyden has been a total failure as a congressman since he first entered . He is totally a party animal not a senator for American citizens.

Any reporter worth the title should be ready to go to jail to protect sources. But reporters also should be very cautious about entering into a secrecy agreement with any source. We have too much secrecy in Washington already. Top government officials give press conferences on the condition that reporters do not name them in the subsequent stories, for example. The proposed bill also would protect reporters who simply make up sources and then base stories on their own fantasies.

And that's what the press intends to continuously bring to itself, The lawful rights to control free speech, In written form, voiced, and broadcast via airwaves, internet, and even between gatherings of citizens, The press has voided the concept of news as a public service, The definition of news and press are suspect at best ! Webster's New World Dictionary of the American Language, circa 1953-1958, defines either as more of a business of opinion and criticism than a circulation of events as witnessed ! Free Speech will not succumb to any partisan business!

They. Are trying to get this through to further leak and hamstring trump just as they did his first term. I’m happy it failed but they will try this and other legislation in the next 30 days.We have to stop it all and we must lock people up or at the very least fire them so they cannot further obstruct trump.
