Obviously it is a good idea to disband the DOE, if people are calling Trump a Nazi, they obviously need a history lesson, they are trivializing the holocaust. Based on how stupid people are, the DOE has failed. The only reason Musk and the president are not being supported for all the fraud and abuse is because they are uncovering tax dollars being spent on pure waste. We need to take all this money and fix the homeless problem, children abandon and on the streets, all veterans need to be taken care of and ensure they have proper medical care and food and a proper home, and all the other problems with healthcare and department of children and family services in every state is the USA needs proper funding. Shut down FEMA, DOE, and cut waste and abuse. Love Karoline Leavitt, Sharp lady, keep it up.

What's the point of being a manufacturing superpower if no one will buy from you? I hope most countries put huge tariffs on US products to reduce or eliminate demand for them. If they wanna be alone, let them be. You turn your back on your allies, there's a price to pay for that. The US is too cocky, they need some big time humbling. Well it will be interesting to see who will be left behind with privatized education that will be selective of who is allowed in. Instead of public schools by supporting teachers and students with smaller more easily manageable classrooms, funding that actually reaches students, parent involvement by prescence and sharing the student workload of students with special needs instead of one teacher with alot more or providing extra student help by mentoring by older students. Lets just throw it away. Ask your local teachers, visit and observe classrooms. Not an excuse at all. And im not a teacher.

I live in Louisiana and work in federal grants management; we process, disburse, and audit the FEMA disaster funding received by the state.
I had the unfortunate luck of being in the state public school system grades 4-12 (gifted program until grade 3 when they rezoned the gifted program, nearest gifted/talented school post change would have been a daily 1.5 hour bus ride that picked us up around 4.45am) and had to learn nearly entirely on my own outside of the school system, I hope you're right about Landry's positive impact on the school systems here. I wouldn't recommend holding your breath.
He certainly hasn't helped any of the agencies who are responsible for making sure Louisiana citizens, businesses, and local governments/municipalities are able to actually get the funding. I've spoken to quite a few coworkers that have years of experience and expertise in what for anyone unfamiliar can be an extremely confusing process are either being either outright terminated for "fiscal reasons", or are even being told they will be expected to train their National Guard replacements first and pressured and even outright threatened in exceedingly unprofessional ways to do so.
Every equivalent tier Louisiana National Guard position (of which I'm aware, over a half dozen so far) has both a notably higher starting salary as well as promotional pay increases and pay raise rates nearly twice what our organizations offer.
As someone who has been watching some of this play out first hand for months now, I'm having a difficult time seeing the savings. It seems a lot more like Landry is doing the same weapons-grade brown nosing regarding the current administration as so many others.
Improving governmental efficiency and reducing the waste of taxpayer dollars is always a noble and worthwhile goal.
What appears to be happening around the country, however – the wholesale dismantling of organizations and services currently in place quite literally without any concrete, actionable plan for what happens next – seems incredibly unlikely to achieve that goal in any appreciable form.
