Nexa New Dimension has once again emerged victorious, retaining their crown at the Panaroma competition in Grenada. Their electrifying performance of Mr Gold’N’s “In Me Head” captivated the judges, earning them a total of 288 points for the night. It was Cordel Byam’s expert arrangement that truly set them apart and solidified their win.
The competition was intense, with seven other steel orchestras vying for the top spot. Republic Bank Angel Harps, who had a stellar performance, had to settle for second place with a tie alongside Blast Pan Wizards, both scoring 270 points. The Co-Op Bank Commancheros claimed the fourth spot with a commendable score of 266 points.
The remaining positions were filled by IMA Grenada Rainbow City All Stars, Pan Ossia, Florida Westside Symphony, and Grand Roy Pan Angels in the fifth to eighth places respectively. Each orchestra brought their unique flair to the competition, showcasing the rich diversity and talent within Grenada’s steelpan community.
