This guy is a goofball, projecting his failure. Therefore, it is not ironic that if you had bought the 4 companies he mentioned, as I did, you'd have monster returns far over an index, as I have. There would be no "allocation of 30% for a lesson to be learned". His actual advice here is to accept failure, save a few dollars, work in mediocrity, and do not take risks…Project happiness as he clearly does 🙄.

I make $15 for every $1 I invest in advertising for my small business. So every time I think about people fighting for a paycheck and who are just hoping for a double digit percentile return on their investment I'm reminded of just how little even successful people are convinced is a fair return for their life's work.
