Our anniversary is in January & we take a trip, but all paid before we go no credit. We are in no spend for the rest of the month. 😊❤😊

Hi, Dana! Kind of along the idea of purging and cleaning during a No Spend month, I like using up pantry and freezer goods. It makes space, and often purchasing the supporting ingredients to use what you have means your grocery bill is lower than usual.

Definitely planning on doing a no spend January. It’s one of my children’s birthdays so I’ll put something in place for that this month x

Since your return I’ve been fascinated with Mr. Rabbit.. I think he should have an official name if he is going to continue being part of your videos.🐰😊

I've done a Low-Spend 2024, continuing into 2025 and starting with No-Spend January!

Husband and I talked about this. We are retired and actually buy groceries and just normal bills, no extras.
We do eat out 1-2x month. We have enough clutter/stuff. Christmas will be slim on purpose this year. -

I want to get a fenced area for my (large breed) dog to be able to go out and run around, off-leash and play & just be a dog. I have more than enough outdoor room (acreage, actually) so the fence is the "how" and the dog is the "why."

I have really been enjoying your new videos, am glad you are back. I plan to do a no-spend winter, committing on a month-by-month basis. For hikers to start the month off right, I always check out "First Day Hikes", many state parks across the country have special hike events on January 1st, accompanied often with special activities and fun swag. Great free fun with the family. I have also found that by sharing this with my friends I get so many allies and companions on the quest who will send me messages when they see a free activity to ask me to join them or willingly set up home based get-togethers that cost nothing. Wishing everyone success in your goals!

I will be doing a no spend month in January and then switch to low spend the rest of the year. My biggest money waster is eating out, either alone while on the go or eating out with my retired friends. My plan it to do zero eating out in January and then limit eating out with friends to 4 times a month. My guess is that my weight snd health will also improve with this change🙂

Planned a no spend January for the first time. My daughter’s birthday is in January so I’ve saved up the cash before the new year (she always has cash because she has presents for Christmas so it’s easier). I’m saving to replenish my vet account as it was emptied this year by my poorly dog, who thankfully recovered but I had enormous vet bills which were not anticipated.

Hi Dana! I'm glad you're back! I'm planning a No Buy January and a Low Buy Year for 2025. I've prepared an updated inventory of my pantry and freezer to help with grocery spending. I am trying to figure out my guidelines before the new year starts.
