They're checking the requests from Western North Carolina "line by line…?? That reminds me of something I've read about, concerning the President. The President of the United States should be given the power of a little thing called the"Line Item Veto. For far too long, Congress would work on a bill that they want to get passed and, before it reaches the president's desk, all kinds of nonsense (pork) would be added to the bill and the president has to either accept the whole bill (pork and all) or veto the whole thing. With the Line Item Veto, he could pass parts of the bill while getting rid of the excess crap that usually doesn't have anything to do with whatever the purpose of the bill was for. It would bring an end to the wasteful spending that Congress(especially the demoncrats) are so well known for. Just a thought.

Change the laws that no future president can pardon a family member or a politician, put a limit of one crime, no multiple year and crime pardon. We need changes in laws to limit the government not the people, the people will not put up with this anymore.

It is not fair to pardon your own family. I have a sonwhohas a simple felony and I have a son who will need his brother full time when I die and I cant get a pardon so my son isn't put in a placement center where I fear from all I have heard to these children who do not know better.
