The company appointed BDO as its new auditor in November to address delays in filing its 2024 year-end report with the SEC.
- Nasdaq Compliance: Investors should pay attention to whether Nasdaq supports Super Micro’s request for an extension to comply with listing rules. The company had pledged to file its 2024 financials following the review.
The release of the independent committee review led to a significant uptick of about 29% in Super Micro’s shares. The committee recommended that the company enhance its financial team by replacing its Chief Financial Officer, appointing a Chief Accounting Officer and a Compliance Officer, strengthening the legal department, and improving compliance-related training.
Despite facing challenges with delayed filings and accusations of accounting irregularities, Super Micro has seen a remarkable 47% rise in its shares in 2024.
