There are food industry employers that take that card use cost out of servers tips. Yes, so the tips are taxed and then charged the card fees.

Visa and mastercard aren't credit card companies. They are payment networks that are used primary by banks and financial institutions. The fact that credit card interest rates got into this conversation is utterly stupid.
