Thank you Sir! Can you get this message out to SS recipients without it seeming political! 👏👏👏

The gov won’t allow funding an IRA or 401k. After all, if you die the money would be part of your estate to leave to whom you wish, rather than the gov keeping it. GW Bush floated this idea and it was rejected.

You should know by now, Trump doesn’t like anything that doesn’t benefit him. This proposal doesn’t do anything for those just getting by.

    Age bracket, embrace this?

I love that! Social security has been coming for us the past few years, but I was always wondering why it is taxed. Our Medicare and secondary health insurance. Keeps going up that soon we will not have any social security check left for food or other essentials.

Trump 2024! the Nation needs you!

A 10 per cent FLAT TAX covering everything including Social Security would be fair. Also, states should be limited to 10% maximum of the federal income tax. Other political entities should be denied the ability to tax income, but be allowed to tax property.

SSI should be tax free from all state and federal government! Since the government took our hard earned money illegally and never ever paid any interest , now the government is again stealing our SSI to give to criminal aliens such as all illegal aliens! It would have to be a federal mandate that is forced upon all states!

I think good old Biden had something to do with taxing social security 🤔

    California = Trump/Vance 2024

As a senior and recipient of my social security benefits, I find it extremely unfair to have to pay tax on it. When a person reaches the age to be eligible for social security, he shouldn’t have to pay tax. It’s tough enough in Bidens economy to make ends meet without paying tax on the money we paid in over a lifetime of employment.

I support this 100%. Social Security should have never been taxable… many States recognize this and do this. The Federal government should do this.

If the Federal government would scale back its spending and overwhelming size of upkeep and turn over many concerns and expenses to the States, eliminating SS taxes would not affect general ,Federal operations. If the Federal government would only relegate its duties to: Border enforcement,Military needs,Economic solutions to infrastructure renewal and energy,it would not need half of its upkeep.Sure it could levy a tax on every dollar spent to help in it’s required duties but no more than 5%.Import taxes it could garner as well but the extra money the ordinary citizen could keep would help revitalize the USA economy. When the people can keep more of their money the better any nation will be.

Social Security and Medicare is funded by the FICA payroll deduction on wages up to $168,600. For a person earning $10-million per year only the first $168,600 is taxed. To save Social Security the entire amount should be taxed without the limit that is there now.

There are crooked employees at Social Security that will rob you blind. I say this because once I borrowed money from my Full Term Insurance policy, $2,500.00 to be exact. Before the year was over I was forced to make repairs to my vehicle because I was broke down & out of town, ten miles from my grandmothers home headed back to my home when water began coming out of my exhaust pipe, engine over heating because of lack of water and anti-freeze plus it was 2AM in the morning and the vehicle was attempting to go up a hill and on a curve at that. I barely pulled the vehicle out of the highway and only had about three vehicles pass me by, only one stopped to ask if I needed help and I had only been able to contact the State Troopers before my phone died, and I could not recharge it because the vehicle battery also died trying too aluminate the roadway so no one would miss seeing my vehicle sticking out in the road, I stated no by thank you for stopping. Soon the State Trooper came, and he notified me a wrecker, and he finally came, meanwhile we pushed the vehicle more into the grassy ditch. The wrecker towed me back to my origination point stopping in at my cousin's house, I had to wake him up to borrow money to pay the wrecker else he was going to tow my vehicle 25 miles and I would not be able to get it till Monday, It was Sunday Morning. So I could not get the ATM to work without a pin number to pay the wrecker driver, nor would Jacks Hamburgers give me any money from a purchase of food off my Debit card in the amount over to pay him. I was happy I got my vehicle back to my grandmothers home, and he was happy that he could return to his business. That was the beginning of my ordeal.
I was tuck 150 miles from my home, had already sent a check to pay back the insurance company the $2,500.00 I owed them, but I slipped up when I called my back and listened to my balance which was well more than enough to stay there at least two weeks and pay to get my vehicle repaired which needed two heads and bolts to replace the cracked heads. It cost me $150.00 per head removal & replacement plus another $180.00 per head & bolts which I bought the at Auto Zone in the nearby city. The engine was a V 6cy. I really didn't realize it, but this expenditure was eating away at an outgoing check, which would end up causing me at least nine overdrafts once my account balanced. Once I finished paying folks to drive me to Auto Zone four times and the garage that was repairing my vehicle, I had enough money to get a full tank of gasoline and some food to eat and returned to my home. The mechanic forgot to attach a vacuum line and the engine died each time I came to a stop at a stop sign or red light all the way back home. Once I got back to my city under a streetlight in front of a restaurant I used my flashlight to look under the hood determined to find that vacuum line not attached and after 30 minutes I did.
The next morning after over sleeping from the long drive back home I went to my back and that is when I learned what I had done, this was truly embarrassing. Now that my bank and I got it straightened out, all I needed to do was to contact my insurance company and apologize. I felt I smoothed out the situation until I received a call from Social Security telling me that my bank account showed me to have received $2,500.00 too much for the month, and they wanted me to pay them the money saying they counted it as taxable income. Well, I told them it was not an income that it had been a loan from my Life Insurance Policy which was in Full Term, she however didn't go for that truth and still demanded I pay the money to Social Security in payments each month till I had paid the $2,500.00, then she hung up the phone but in a week I received a letter stating the same gory details from Social Security.
Now that I have researched Social Security By-Laws, I have found that Social Security had no right of demanding the money from me which I received as a LOAN from my LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY. Did anyone at Social Security care that there was a thief employed by them, NOT AT ALL. They claimed the entire amount as a TAX, not just a %% of the amount. Man, I thought I could have a field day over their crime, maybe one day I will overturn their verdict and nail them for FRAUD! I think Former President Trump needs to zero in on Social Security to expose the bad employees they have.

I knotice you forgot to mention all the money government took out of social security and promised to put back wnd DIDNT ! Put it back and fix the problem ! This shows government accountability all right !

At least eliminate it for those of us who want to work while collecting at 62.

It makes perfect sense, all you are doing is penalize the productive people.

    Elimnate property taxes

Steve you are correct but i am also for the rich paying full income on social security tax remove the 168k cap! With the population getting older is going to be less workers there's going to be a way to pay them. The rich should pay on every dollar they earn what is wrong with that?

Wealth tax or higher capital gains tax is better. Income tax is bad. Stagnant wealth or stock gambling chokes the economy. Punishing people for making more money through legitimate work, hurts the economy

The government has stolen from Social Security for years. They keep dipping into it but not replacing it. We need to stop the stealing of our Social Security and make the government live within a budget. Tell foreign countries we don’t have the money or resources to give them. Start collecting back what we have loaned out.

Don't worry though the federal just keep printing money! Until a loaf of bread cost $20! America First

It does not have to bankrupt social security you need to remove the tax cap on 168k. People who earn more than that should pay for on every dollar. There will be lots of older people coming out with kids not having children. No reason not to text the extra income these millionaires get.

Hey, Steve. How's your memory. The person responsible for having a tax put on Social Security benefits was your hero Ronald Reagan. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮.
