The claim that former president will be good for the economy is rediculous. The former president claims that tarrifs are paid for by foreign countries, which is manifestly untrue. He is proposing massive tariffs that are not in place to promote US business. Corrupting the civil service, as he proposes, will not be good for the US (corruption is like a hidden tax). He will also destroy the US's place in the world and our partner countries will stop trusting us. This claim is so empty that it doesn't really bear refutation.

So when there are tarrifs on foreign products, their prices rize. If then the plan is to buy instead american products, customers either have to pay hire prizes as otherwise why raise tarrifs in the first place or production costs and wages have to go down to have a competative price and then you wouldn't need tarrifs either. So what will it be, customers having to pay more for local products or customers having no money as their wages would need to be forced to flatline and therefor houselholds having lower income not being able to afford local products?

Why doesn't Forbes do a video on how much manufacturing is booming under Biden. Forbes never mentions the return of companies already to heights not seen for decades.
