Exactly right, and this is my problem in the election. Im a conservative, but they're wrong this time on the most important issue in the world right now. And I cant stand the leftists, but somehow theyre right on this one. And it's a national security issue to boot! Since when are the lefties strong on national security and the conservatives are the omg-we're-risking-nuclear-war pearl clutchers?

Russia's main demand is that the Ukraine never joins NATO. Meet that in exchange for Russia's complete withdrawal and the return of the Crimea and Donbas. The Donbas eastern border may need renegotiation.

How often do we hear about returning territories to Ukraine — territories that voted overwhelmingly to leave Ukraine before this war started. These territories had been under attack by Kiev for their courage in standing up to a repressive government. Yet Forbes and others contend that forcing those people back under the thumbs of their oppressors is a victory. Victory for whom?

Just as the French aided our revolution and a more free society we should aide in Ukraine's. They suffered for over a hundred years under Russia to include the Holodomor genocide.
Putin is a egomaniac, greedy and shallow. -

Stupid, absurd, ridiculous. Russia will win the Ukraine war, and US/Nato achieved nothing but getting tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops killed.
US empire is collapsing, 35 trillion in debt and will never be paid back. See Emmanuel Todd's 'Defeat of the West.' China is already ahead of US. -

Mr Forbes is totally crazy. Why? Russian 6500 nuclear warheads.

Either Steve’s helping the government cover this up or he doesn’t know America’s military agenda. The reason America is giving enough not to lose but not enough to win the war is because that’s their goal for Russia. Due to the presented opportunity America wants to slowly weaken Russia and everything is working beautifully. Even if Russia was to win the war right now America would have done their job. Russia is in a total mess right now, it would be hard for them to move forward here on out. Russia’s best chance is to retreat and regroup to do what’s best for the country. Russia is currently fighting for nothing because if they were to win this war they would be in a worse situation due to their failing economy.

Ukraine is out of Ukrainians. The only way they can win is wirh NATO troops, and even then it is not assured. Is this what we want?

I reread a Reader's Digest of the late sixties. A US General assured the US public that the war was going to be won if the budget for arms was raised. The budget was raised and the siyuation on the ground only became worse.
When examining public debt to the IMF and budget deficit of Ukraine of the last 20 years, you can immediately understand why there was a ' spontaneous' revolt against a legally elected president; This person was overthrown because he was tackling this problem. Some foreign sponsors didn't particularly like that as they were aiming for Ukraine's raw materials and wealth. Some were in for wheat and cereals, some for Lithium, some for gas
The only way to secure this was creating chaos and nurturing a hate between ukrainians speaking ukrainian and ukrainians speaking russian.
Pure Xenophobia
Without Nato, the problem would already have been solved.Ukrainian young conscripts don't want to fight for Us and European companies who are only interested in the economic benefits. Once you loose the support of the local people, you loose;
Make peace, not war.
War makes no winners.
Neither Ukraine, neither Europe, neither Russia, neither the US wins.

Russia has not achieved military strategic advantage in Ukraine because:
1. Ukraine has received weapons, logistics about USD 180 billions, technology & military expertise from 32 NATO countries.
2. The West froze USD 300 billions of Russia foreign asset with the West banks.
3. Russia was hit with about 15,000 economic sanctions.
4. Russia still imposed self restraint on bombing railways, bridges, canals etc.

A loser spouting loser talk ,did Forbes ever think it's none of our business what happens in Ukraine, oh but many western politicians launder their money there, Biden Romney and others, I'll be curious to see how much Monsanto Dupont ConAgra and others have there. It's about looting and owning Ukraine next door to Russia 🇷🇺 Ukraine was granted independence in that it would not join military alliances with the west and not to be hostile to Russian interests. What if Russia went to Alaska and secretly stirred a rebellion against the US, what would be the US response?

Spot on. The isolationists are the ones who are truly setting up the world for catastrophic war.

Who is responsible for advising this administration to hold back? Why has no one identified and focused pressure on these advisers? Is it MAGA? Knowing what we know about a success on Russia's part, how can this outcome be ignored and not acted upon while there are still Ukrainians to fight for all of the west?

Ukraine has been given enough support to stay in the fight but not to win the war. It's painful to watch this war drags on for so long that could've ended much sooner had the West not been playing politics. Everyday more unnecessary suffering continues.

The Russian ruble did not turn into rubble, and Putin got 77% votes last time the elections were held.
Not only that, but Saudi Arabia joined BRICS, and abandoned petrodollar, ties were made strong
between Russia, China, North Korea and Iran (all the countries under the USA sanctions).
Not only that, but the Monroe doctrine will be heavily undermined with expanding Chinese ( and Russian)
influence in Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Bolivia, among others.
The USA is an isolated continent protected by huge oceans from both sides, and America's resources and
entrepreneurial spirit will keep going strong, but it is not required for the US of A to go from 100 to 0 in a year,
or two, to lose the edge, and therefore the advantage over the others, like it had in the past.
The current formula that Joe Biden administration has been trying to push is outdated and worn out, another
approach and fresh ideas are needed so that America can stay competitive in the future.
I know that for some people life is not worth living if the USA is not no.1 ,BABY, and all the time, but I will try to
take this opportunity and dare to say the unthinkable: Maybe, just maybe, there is a slight chance that going
forward, the USA will not always remain the only SuperPower in the entire 🌎 World, since other people have
advanced and developed in the meantime. -
